Green tea

Green tea or o-cha in Japanese is the most common tea drunk in Japan.

Green tea is drunk with meals in a similar way coffee is drunk in the west, but has several health benefits over coffee, even though it does still contain caffein.

Some of the health benefits of green tea are that it can reduce high blood pressure, lowering blood sugar and some studies have shown that it can be benificial in preventing cancer. Green contains powerful anti-oxidants which can help prevent certain diseases and can slow the aging process.
